Knowledge Studio One returns this August for the Mequon-Thiensville Rec Department’s Study Skills Class!
The class is a fun, activity-based, hands-on course designed to help your student learn and develop foundational study skills and habits.
Over the course of the class, each student will create for themselves a portfolio of learned study skills to use both as a reference and a spur to future development.
Course Outline
Instructors
Instructors have 65 years of combined experience in teaching and tutoring math, science, and study skills.
They are patient, kind, and directed to helping students become confident, independent learners.
Katie Dewey
Katie Dewey taught Middle School at St. Eugene’s Middle School in Bayside, 34 years of award-winning teaching experience.
Keith Bankert
Keith Bankert has 25 years experience as a full-time, professional tutor in Mequon. MS Engineering
David Stern
David has experience teaching middle school and high school, plus 7 years experience tutoring math and science.
