Meet Our Tutors
Keith Bankert
I have been tutoring professionally for 25 years, after a career in engineering. I tutor every math and science subject. I am deeply committed to education and science. When not tutoring, I spend my time engaging our local science community and local residents to effectively address local issues on the topics of public health, science education, and sustainability.

I joined Knowledge Studio One a year ago. I am a retired middle school teacher who taught math and science for the past 37 years in private and public schools. Throughout my career during the summer months, I tutored students and will continue to tutor because of my dedication, enthusiasm and love of teaching.
Dr. Alex Blom
I’ve worked in higher education for over 15 years and hold a PhD in Physical Chemistry. I am invested in helping students understand science and math concepts to better prepare them for future courses, college, and life in general. As a fully tenured professor at a liberal arts college I have honed my skills and developed teaching methods that I customize to each class and student. I tutor pretty much any math class in addition to chemistry & physics and have been tutoring for five years. This year I accepted a unique opportunity to work at a college in western Illinois and have temporarily relocated there for a year-long sabbatical. I’ll be working remotely but commuting back to Milwaukee on weekends to visit family.
